How does the Upper Limb Confidence Plan work with your manufacturer warranty?

The bebionic Hand, Michelangelo Hand, and Dynamic Arm come with a 2-year limited warranty which warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Running concurrently with the limited warranty, the Upper Limb Confidence Plan adds an extra layer of protection for a total of 3 years from the date of device delivery. If something goes wrong after the original manufacturer warranty ends, the Upper Limb Confidence Plan will kick in and cover maintenance and necessary repairs.

The Upper Limb Confidence Plan does not include repairs due to force majeure, gross negligence or willful misuse as determined by Otto Bock HealthCare, LP.
